FAQs

What is a Kenzan?

A Kenzan is a floristry tool commonly used in the Japanese art of flower arranging, Ikebana.

Kenzans are commonly known as "Pin Frogs" or "Flower Frogs" and are gaining popularity among floral designers.

Why are Kenzans so popular?

Floral designers seeking sustainable mechanics are turning away from floral foam and towards reusable mechanics such as Kenzans.

Floral foam is a brick-like foam which is used as a temporary water source for floral arrangements. Although it is a common tool, it is unsustainable as it is a single-use product and made from micro plastics. Studies have shown the micro plastic leeching into waterways, harming aquatic organisms.

We have created a simple guide to Kenzans on our homepage.

Do you sell other colours or sizes?

Unfortunately, we currently only stock Stainless Steel however we will be stocking more sizes, shapes and colours in the future!

Yes! We are able to provide large quantity orders for Floral Designers. Orders over 100 units are eligible for wholesale pricing.

I don't like the size I have ordered, can I exchange it?

Unfortunately we do not offer an exchange or refund on items due to change of mind. Due to the nature of our product, it is difficult to determine if the product has been used therefore the resale of returned items is difficult.
